Friends

Pearson and I went to the aquarium with our friends, Nicole and Haley, yesterday. Pearson and Haley talked about the fish and sharks they wanted to see for the entire thirty minute trip there. But, once we were inside of the aquarium they were so excited to be together I don't think they slowed down long enough to look at one piece of marine life. After the aquarium we went to Haley's daddy's work, Chick-fil-A, and had lunch. It was there that Pearson made the sweetest announcement: "Mom, I want to take care of Haley." He is definitely all boy, but a very sweet one! Here are some pictures.

Brotherly Love I

Pearson (P): I love Oso.
Me: You do?
P: I do. I love him.
Me: I know you do, Buddy.
P: I very, very, very, very love him!
Me: Oh, really?
P: Yep, I pet him. I be sweet to him. I love him!
**********
Let's just hope that one day Oso will feel the same about Pearson.

Happy Valentine's Day

This is Pearson's new way to smile when you take his picture. It is not his cutest look, but he will not do it any other way. It is almost as weird as the phase he went through when he would say cheese with one eye closed.
Happy Valentine's Day!

Happy Birthday to Hudson

Here are some pictures of Hudson Pizza's birthday party. The tumble bus was there and that is all Pearson talked about the entire ride home and into the night. "When I get on that bus again, I'm gonna jump." "When I get on that bus again, I'm gonna swing." "When I get on that bus again, I'm gonna flip." And on and on. He is obviously related to his father, he showed no fear! They also played with a parachute in the yard. Pearson loved that, too. Well, for a little while.

One-Liners - Updated 2/14/09

Me: Pearson are you sick? Do you feel bad?
Pearson (P): I cough, I got snot, I got boogers in my ears.
(I guess that is a yes.)
~~~~~~~~~~~
P: I am so proud of the duck. (Looking at the lake at our neighborhood's entrance.)
Me: You are?
P: I am. Him swimmin' in the water.
~~~~~~~~~~~
(While walking up to Pearson's school, coming up to the carpool line.)
P: Oh no! I can't get to my school! All these cars are in the way!
~~~~~~~~~~~
(While Kirby and Pearson are wresting. Kirby has just rubbed his scruffy chin on Pearson's stomach.)
P: Daddy, that just straight-up street fightin'.
~~~~~~~~~~~
(Kirby has come into Pearson's room to see why he is crying and not going to sleep.)
Kirby (K): What is wrong?
P: My nose running.
K: It is?
P: Yeah. My nose running fast!
~~~~~~~~~~~
P: I didn't go nite-nite last night.
Me: You didn't?
P: No, I worked.
Me: What did you work on?
P: Um...everything.
~~~~~~~~~~~
And my all-time favorite:
P: I'm stinky. You need to change me.
