Me: "Pearson, you have had a very hard time obeying me today. You have been arguing with me constantly, you have spit at me, kicked me, and pitched some full-on temper tantrums. I have "had it up to here". Are you acting the way Jesus would want you to act? Are you listening to Jesus? Are you obeying me like the Bible tells you to?"

Pearson (P): "NO!"

Kirby: (later on in the evening) "How was your day today, Pearson?"

P: "I've been obeying the devil."

MOM!!!!

Pearson (P): "Mom! Please don't bother me, I am trying to con-cer-tate!"
Me: "You are? You are trying to concentrate?"
P: "Yes! Con-cer-tate! Con-cer-tate means I am trying to color! Please, do not bother me!"

Later they planted some flowers in some pots that they decorated.

Members Only

We went to Members Only night at the zoo a few weeks ago. Pearson has been to the zoo so much recently that he has little interested in seeing the animals. He really goes to the zoo to climb the rock wall.

We did attempt to feed the parakeets, but the volunteer at the parakeet house said it was close to their bed time and they were really not that hungry.

We did see Curious George and the Man in the Yellow Hat.

Pearson was insistent that we stay for story time. We also listened to Max read his book Where the Wild Things Are
