Re-purposed
Someone left this at our house this weekend. (I have narrowed it down to three people. I am sure you know who you are.)

When Pearson saw it, he said, "Oh yeah, but, I can play with it." He ran off with it to play and I didn't pay him any attention, because he was quiet and with Pearson around that is a rare occasion. A few minutes later Pearson said, "I need two more sticky men to fill this up." So, now it is being used as an apartment complex or lots of small coffins or maybe even a mausoleum. You be the judge.

I Wish I Had a ...
Pearson doesn't ask for much, (yeah, right) but here are some of his recent requests:
I wish ...
1. I had a hole... "I would put it right here on the floor and crawl down in it."
2. I was a monkey... "I would climb up and jump in the trees."
3. I had a puppy that swims... He said this while he was watching a commercial about a plastic puppy that you wind up to make it swim in the water. "You already have a puppy that swims. He is sitting right next to you." Pearson looks over the arm of the chair at Oso. "Oh,(very pregnant pause) I wish I had two puppies that swim."
4. I had a microphone... "I would hold it up to your face and ask you questions."
5. I had a french horn... Kirby's response was, "I am glad you don't have a french horn. I am sure the noise that would come out of it would not be nice to hear."
6. I had a cement mixer... "You have a cement mixer, you have three that I can think of at home." "No, Mommy!!! A real, big cement mixer to park next to our house in the driveway." "Pearson, I am sure our neighborhood covenants do not allow that."
7. I had a road..."I would lay it out and drive on it."

A Post Only a Grandparent (or other family member) Would Love
Today was Farm Day at Person's school. Here are some pictures of the fun. (Disclaimer: I am the first to admit that these pictures and videos are not that exciting. But, something about your kid [or grandkid or nephew or cousin] being in them makes them the cutest ever.)

Pearson is Prepared for the Rain
When I got up this morning and realized it was raining and chilly I dug up one of Pearson's raincoats for him to wear to school. He put it on about twenty minutes before time to leave and wore it with the hood on and completely zipped up. He wore it in the house, in the car, and into school. Here is a picture of him on the way to eat dinner.

If we had a sunroof and we rode with it open while it was raining, Pearson would be prepared. BTW, he was insistant that he make a fish face for this picture, he was not about to smile.

Who's We?
This is Pearson's place mat that is at his place at the table.

We talk about it almost every day. We talk about where my mom lives, where my dad lives, where Pearson's cousins live, where Kirby's parents and aunt live, etc. He always asks about the pictures that are on most of the states. The other day, for the first time, he asked what the picture was in the upper left-hand corner of the place mat. I told him it was the Space Needle and that it is in Washington. He said that he wanted to climb to the top of it. I told him that it was probably against the law to do that and it was very tall and he would get hurt. Today, without asking me about it, this is what he told me: "I know, Mom!! I can't climb to the top of the Space Needle, I will crawl! We will crawl all the way to the top and then we will be able to see everything! We will be able to see our house!"

Disney Day #5 - Magic Kingdom
We let Pearson decided where he wanted to go for the last day. He wanted to ride the Dumbo, Peter Pan, and It's A Small World rides again.
And we are on our way to the airport

Disney Day #3 - Magic Kingdom
Kirby said Pearson looked down at his feet the entire time.
Pearson on the Teacups.
Before we got on the teacups ride, Pearson asked me if we were going to sit in the water. I told him, "No, there is no tea in the cups." "Oh, okay", he replied with a look of relief on his face.

Disney Day #2 - Hollywood Studios
Tuesday started early, we had breakfast reservations with JoJo's Circus and Little Einsteins.
Pearson dancing with Goliath
We also had reservations for dinner at Mickey's Backyard BBQ that night. But, all of those pictures turned out blurry. Mickey, Minnie, Chip and Dale, and Goofy danced with all the kids to country songs. It was fun, but we left early to beat the crowd back to the boat. Pearson wasn't too impressed with the "cowboy" there who did some trick roping, all he wanted to do was play on the playground. Which was fine with us, watching trick roper is kind of boring.
