A Pearson-style Game Show

Pearson (P): "Mom, what did the big daddy buffalo say down on the ranch?"
Me: "Ooo yuck, I stink?"
P: making a buzzer sound "No, the correct answer is Tigger. Let's try it again. Mom, what did the big daddy buffalo say down on the ranch?"
Me: "Tigger?"
P: "Ding, ding, ding! Right answer, Mom! Good job! Now, Daddy, what did the big daddy buffalo say down on the ranch?"
Kirby: "Tigger?"
P: making a buzzer sound "No, that is not the correct answer! That answer did not make me happy, I'm not playing anymore!"

Taking a Walk on the Dark Side

Me: "Pearson, you have had a very hard time obeying me today. You have been arguing with me constantly, you have spit at me, kicked me, and pitched some full-on temper tantrums. I have "had it up to here". Are you acting the way Jesus would want you to act? Are you listening to Jesus? Are you obeying me like the Bible tells you to?"
Pearson (P): "NO!"
Kirby: (later on in the evening) "How was your day today, Pearson?"
P: "I've been obeying the devil."

MOM!!!!

Pearson (P): "Mom! Please don't bother me, I am trying to con-cer-tate!"
Me: "You are? You are trying to concentrate?"
P: "Yes! Con-cer-tate! Con-cer-tate means I am trying to color! Please, do not bother me!"

School's Out

Here are some pictures of Pearson's End of the Year Party.

Pearson and Skylar at the playground.

Jacob and Pearson eating snow cones.
They are both super sweaty from jumping in the bounce houses.

Later they planted some flowers in some pots that they decorated.

Members Only

We went to Members Only night at the zoo a few weeks ago. Pearson has been to the zoo so much recently that he has little interested in seeing the animals. He really goes to the zoo to climb the rock wall.

We did attempt to feed the parakeets, but the volunteer at the parakeet house said it was close to their bed time and they were really not that hungry.

We did see Curious George and the Man in the Yellow Hat.

Pearson was insistent that we stay for story time. We also listened to Max read his book Where the Wild Things Are

Once again our great swim instructor, Michelle Smith, has pulled double duty. She takes pictures while teaching Pearson how to swim-float-swim!

Boys Cook the Darndest Things

Yes, Pearson's kitchen is pink, we plan on painting a more boyish color, but for right now it is pink.
He has cookies in the microwave...

dishes put away on the shelf...

dirty dishes in the sink...

and cars in the oven.

Sitting in Trucks

Sitting in the Tahoe wondering when the rain will stop.

Sitting in the Creation Trolley from church.

Sitting in a firetruck.

Honking the horn on a wrecker.

Sitting in a power truck, having a very indepth conversation with a Cobb EMC employee. BTW, the electric worker in yellow asked us what grade Pearson is in.

Sitting in a tractor.

Sitting in the same tractor.
Pearson was very confused when we told him we were going to "Touch A Truck". He said "Why are we going to touch a truck?" I know he was thinking I touch Daddy's truck all the time... It took him a while to understand that he could do anything he wanted in all of the trucks lined up there. He had a great time.
